I have been involved in Church Ministry for 50 years. A myriad of experiences have certainly taught me valuable lessons on relationships, leadership, healthy churches and many things that are not optimal for ministry success.
My passion is to come alongside others and assist them in being successful in their endeavors. Discipling church leaders stokes my fire. For decades I have filled this passion by being a mentor, a coach, a guide, a teacher, a preacher and an encourager. Having played team sports, it thrills me to see a group of people come together as a ministry team and accomplish great tasks that they never imagined possible.
I have been the lead pastor in one church for 35 years. During those years we transitioned from a traditional style to an innovative style. We developed multiple venues on campus as well as multi-sites. We also experienced the loss of our facilities due to a hurricane. We weathered a massive financial crisis as our community shrunk from the large loss of oil related businesses for three years. All of these ministry experiences were well outside the Bible Belt.
I've never claimed to be an expert, but I am a person who has experienced the highs and lows of church leadership. My goal is to assist others with their challenges and aide in strategizing their path forward in order to fulfill their God given vision.

I have served in pastoral ministry for over thirty years in Mississippi, Alabama, and Kentucky, including a four year stretch at Mississippi College as Chair of the Christian Studies and Philosophy Department Additionally, I am a certified coach and a certified DISC instructor.
The past three decades have led me to a variety of settings. I have served churches in rural and urban settings, single-staff to over 100 staff members, and from single to multiple campuses. I have been a pastor to pastors, mentor/coach, and strategist to leaders. My diverse experience in ministry, the marketplace, and higher education give me a unique perspective.
I am most passionate about helping pastors and Christian leaders lighten their load, grow their ministries, and lead a life they enjoy. I do this through personal coaching and Mastermind groups.
